Felice is getting pretty close to walking. She hasn’t been in much of a rush to go bi-pedal, but lately she has discovered that the can take a few steps without needing to sit down.

Here you can see both of us trying to capture the moment that she takes her first steps.

Felice and the bath are still working out their love-hate relationship.

Bribes of sultanas,  watermelon, rock melon or a biscuit are only sometimes enough to stop the tears.

Apparently her father was also a screamer in the bath. There is a gene that needs suppressing – before the neighbours get too worried about what is going on in our bathroom.

Felice is going through a phase of hating being in the bath. Luckily if we keep her fed with bribes we can keep her mind off us trying to give her a wash.

Sadly Jess is also one of Elliot’s favourites.

So we are becoming well versed with sibling negotiating and dispute resolution.

It was a year ago already that Felice decided it was time to make an entrance – 3 weeks early.

Here is the birthday girl having just woken up for her cake and presents. Karen and Michelle who were here for (actually just after her birth are dropping in to say hi.

Parents are always saying how different their children are and I always thought `yeah yeah of course’. Felice really is her own personality. She is a placid, gentle and quiet soul and we adore her.

Now that she is more mobile and is taking more interest in her older brother’s toys the dynamics of our family are changing for sure.
