Here is an attempt by me to capture the pure joy I feel when Felice breaks into a smile. A photograph can’t do justice to how great it feels to see your own offspring recognise your face and voice and respond with a big smile.

Maybe this shot gives in inkling of what I feel.

Aaah, I so love being a parent.

Felice is growing great guns and is a contented baby. She is happy to be carried around the house in her rocker, to sit and watch her energetic older brother run around the house. Familiar voices get a good solid head turn and might even be greeted with a smile or two. She is becoming more and more responsive which is fabulous to see. We swear that she is trying to talk to us; it is funny to think how parents strain to grasp any sort of interaction with their new baby !
